Silkcards is a Las Vegas–based company specializing in premium business cards across a range of materials, finishes, and custom designs.
SilkCards partnered with us to create a comprehensive photo and video library for their website, social platforms, and advertising campaigns. The objective was to clearly communicate material quality, finish options, and the breadth of their product offerings through precise, production-ready visuals.
Over six years and more than 12 productions, we have created thousands of assets across still and motion formats, documenting a wide range of paper stocks, specialty finishes, and custom techniques. Each session required controlled lighting and close-up detail work to accurately represent texture, embossing, foil, and coating variations.
The resulting library supports SilkCards’ global marketing efforts across print, web, and social channels, providing consistent visual documentation of their evolving product line.
SilkCards presented a unique challenge due to the breadth of finishes and materials in their catalog. Prismatic, glitter, holographic, and foil effects all react differently under light, and accurately representing those surfaces in a single frame required careful lighting control and precision. Building a diverse portfolio across hundreds of products also meant investing significant time into sourcing complementary backgrounds that enhanced, rather than competed with, each design.
