Iconisus Forged Wheels
Iconisus Forged is a Las Vegas–based manufacturer and design company specializing in high-performance wheels for exotic vehicles.
Iconisus partnered with us to photograph their expanding catalog of custom wheel designs, beginning with an initial launch of 21 styles and continuing through multiple subsequent releases. The objective was to build a clean, consistent product library that accurately represented gloss, chrome, and polished finishes across e-commerce and promotional platforms.
Highly reflective surfaces required controlled studio lighting, precise symmetry, and careful reflection management. Across multiple structured studio sessions, we have photographed approximately 40 wheel designs to date, capturing each from multiple angles to highlight machining detail, depth, and finish quality.
The resulting imagery supports Iconisus’ growing e-commerce presence and marketing efforts, providing a cohesive visual system as the brand continues to expand its product line.
Photographing Iconisus Forged wheels has been some of the most technically demanding product work I’ve done. Gloss black and chrome finishes behave like curved mirrors, requiring a fully controlled, blacked-out studio environment to manage reflections and maintain symmetry. Achieving clean, precise results demanded careful lighting design and disciplined execution from start to finish.
Working with Byron is a fantastic experience. He goes above and beyond to capture every detail possible and can spend hours perfecting the lighting for just a single shot. I attribute much of our early success to Byron's photography and he's pushed us to grow faster than we ever expected.

Deliverables
Summary
Iconisus Forged is a custom wheel manufacturer producing a growing catalog of high-performance designs. They partnered with Byron Mason Photography to create a consistent product image library that could support e-commerce, dealer materials, and broader marketing efforts. The objective was simple in concept but technically demanding: clean, precise product photography on minimal backgrounds that accurately represented gloss, chrome, and polished finishes.
Highly reflective wheel surfaces behave like curved mirrors, requiring a fully controlled studio environment to eliminate unwanted reflections and maintain symmetry. Each design was photographed from multiple angles to highlight machining detail, depth, and finish quality. Across multiple structured studio sessions, approximately 40 wheel designs have been captured to date, creating a cohesive and scalable product library.
The resulting imagery supports Iconisus’ expanding online presence and marketing initiatives. This project demonstrates the importance of lighting control, preparation, and disciplined execution when photographing technically challenging products at a commercial standard.
