Houston TX Hot Chicken

Houston TX Hot Chicken is a fast-casual restaurant franchise specializing in Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches.

Houston TX Hot Chicken required professional content to support the launch of their fast-casual restaurant concept. The objective was to create a polished food and brand image library that would position the company competitively within a crowded quick-service market.

Since their launch in 2020, we have completed five productions, styling and photographing more than 100 menu items while also producing short-form video content and documenting their flagship location. Coverage was structured to support menu boards, digital ordering platforms, advertising campaigns, and franchise materials.

The resulting imagery has been used across their full menu rollout, catering program launch, investor outreach, and targeted web and social media advertising, providing a consistent visual foundation as the brand expands.

HHC’s signature hot chicken sandwich required strong hero imagery to anchor the brand, so we focused on careful styling and controlled lighting to build depth and texture.

The rest of the menu was photographed primarily on white, which leaves no room for distraction. With nothing but the food in frame, each build and lighting setup had to feel fresh, clean, and consistent across the growing menu.

Byron's photos almost single handedly launched our restaurant chain to the moon.

Deliverables

Summary

Houston TX Hot Chicken (HHC) launched with a clear objective: establish a strong visual identity that could support rapid growth in a competitive fast-casual market. To do that, they required professional food and brand content that would define the look of their menu, advertising, and franchise materials from the outset.

During their first year of operations, we completed five productions, creating both still and video content for featured menu items while documenting their flagship restaurant location. More than 100 dishes were styled and photographed to build a cohesive, scalable image library that could support digital ordering platforms, menu boards, catering materials, and investor outreach.

The resulting content has been used across their website, advertising campaigns, franchise presentations, and social media efforts. This collaboration demonstrates how structured, consistent food photography can provide a strong visual foundation as a restaurant concept expands.
